First its their money and their cash and they have the right to choose how they wan to spend it, you are a typical somali who's in a rush and will knock anyone who doesn't agree.....

i can't believe i'm saying this but you're right. it's Turkey's money and if they want to spend on Mogadishu that's fine, but If Mudane Madaxweyne tells them get bunt, then so is his right to do so. President Faroole has to right to them no and no you will not dictate to Somalia. I guess it's official, the PM has failed the rest of the country. how shameful.

Moonlight Turkey is taking sides, that's what you don't seem to get!

Look at the bigger picture Fiqi.

Haddii billions lagu bixiyo Muqdisho kaligeed si nabad uun loo helo iyo dowladnimo taasaa ka qiima badan wax waliba.

Moonlight I agree but to reverse the previous outcome to benefit Turkeys interests is not on at the expense of the rest of Somalia. Turkey needs to learn a lesson and quick. They visited Puntland and Somaliland and stressed that they will be impartial and will not favor any side in the conflict of Somalia so how is that comparable with Turkey's push for a centralist system for Somalia it's incompatible and false in pretense.

Djibouti did that and failed so in partial was Egypt although they were only limited, this won't work and if you're a responsible nation-state than you should act like one. Who are we to trust Qatar and the rest?

Turkey has been a catalyst in bringing aid to southern Somalia but the developmental project in the name of Somalia should have not been only considered in Mogadishu and furthermore Turkey should have not disrespected Somali admins and invite Tadtional elders and civil society groups without consulting those by side-stepping them.

This shows us that the Turks are being hoodwinked by factors against Puntland State and thus why Puntland boycotts the UN meeting in Turkey Istanbul.

Why do you think they favour folks in xamar from Puntland, do they think they think the block are black Turks? ;)

If garowe was the capital of Somalia, they would've done exactly the same, most projects would've come to it and most resource would've been allocated to it.

For the conference, look at its agenda, its dominated by development projects, such as water, electricity and sanitation, Turkey always re-iterated that they are fully supporting the road map and committed to it. Buufiska hala iska daayo oo umadda wax ha lala qaybsado.

They don't realize today Mogadishu tomorrow rest of the country. Umada somaliyeed waa dad Buufis kabuuxo. When oil was getting drilled

In certain of the country everyone was excited. Why can't some people be proud for Mogadishu being rebuilt and besides its the capital

Of Somalia . Every qabiil lives there at this time .

Jaahilinimda is another thing we should cure from our society.

Haatu

Fiqi is seeing things through clan lenses. He doesn't understand that regenerating Mogadishu will help Somalia's economy as a whole.

Puntland and Galmudug will just be missing out really. They might just be blowing their chance of getting a lot of needed investment.

I'll be interested to know what Xiin has to say about this.

Mogadishu isn't controlled by all Somalis, it's controlled by Sheikh Shariif's sub-clan, the same ones that were playing around with the constitution. Faroole stood up to them, and wanted it to be left as it was, Puntland won't play around like these other areas of Somalia, if the TFG steps out of hand it will speak up. And if Sheikh Shariif is going to convince us that he amends things because it is for all Somalis then he can take that to Istanbul.

Why on earth should the corrupt TFG decide the oil and mineral affairs of Puntland, Mogadishu, the place that sucked up $55 billion dollars of donations and has nothing good to show for it. Every single leader from the south has embezzled money, and now we hear those kinds of people telling us that Mogadishu will decide the future national minerals law, who does Mogadishu work for? Puntland works for Puntland, and Mogadishu works for Mogadishu.

Seriously where did all that money go?

Where did it go, that's a good question, we don't know, but all of it was spend in Mogadishu. I mean we even know how Geedi embezzled money like it was nothing, up to now it's still done and there was a audit report highlighting the corruption of Mogadishu.

A 2011 report by the Center for American Progress, Twenty Years of Collapse and Counting, said that, according to a confidential audit of the TFG,
"in 2009 and 2010 some 96 percent of direct bilateral assistance to the government had simply disappeared, presumably into the pockets of corrupt officials."
