The Hermet, you are an ugly illustration of the delusion I wrote about, on which this sad conflict is revolving around. If you truelly believe Buhodle is in your hands ...carry on

Fiqi, I don't understand your newly found reservation on Khaatumo. Perhaps Puntland Vice President recent interview changed your mind
:D
.

Anyway, this post is for a different audience, and not intended to garner support from neither the delusional nor the fickle

The sad reality is you are so blinded by Somaliland hatred that you fail to look at the bigger picture. Ask yourself how was it that the very people who wrote the somali language, the somali national anthem, the somali constitution, who created the concept of Somaliweyn and were the vangaurd of Somali unity since it became the first somali state, why do these people piss on the somali flag today? ask yourself...because with all due respect Somali's as an entity can never be a state, we have tried and failed for the past 40 years. Somali's are the most politically backward people, non stop death and misery. Somaliland did not invade anyone, it had a conference in 1991 which every clan in Somaliland signed, which they agreed to. They have developed a state whether you except it or not call it what you want..offers one man one vote democracy. Somaliland provided the first fresh drinking water to las canod, developed 2 hospitals and free education for all children yet we as Somalilanders are according to you the sad people... Saxib as the creators of the somali republic who has the right to destroy it if not its maker..I as a somalilander do not believe in Somalia...millions of teenagers are being born and growing up under a somaliland flag we cant even remember a somalia...so instead of baaacaaac we should develop a long lasting solution to the somali problem which is easily solvable. Except the reality on the ground and if the people of las canod or buhoodle dont want somaliland then the issue is a legally binding contract which they signed and peace was excepted..they must go through Somaliland. We in Somaliland in 1960 had a voluntary union which was never ratified so it doesnt apply to us legally.

^^You are so incoherent, your logic so pathetic...

Somaliland is part of Somalia notwithstanding the delusion of thinking itself as a sovereign state. The fact that a lot of young people believe the phantom state and are willing to die for is a sad story indeed.

UPDATE,

What happened Saturday in Lasanod is a tragedy, and news reached near and far that a clannish militia encouraged by the clannish protests in Hargeysa and Burco are flexing their muscles on the unarmed women, children and elderly men in Lasanod. This is different, for the community is more united now than ever and are willing to take tangible steps to reverse the gains of this mad group. People of Lasanod, your cries are heard.

Professor, please include in your prayers that our delusional brothers come to their sense and stop driving their future off the separatist cliff.

what part of it was incoherent or not logical...??? the part that disagrees with your version of reality, i think its about time you woke up and smelt the coffee because every word i wrote is truth..just because you disagree with it doesnt mean anything...and somalia is the one that has fallen off the cliff...we seem to be doing just fine without it.. :D

What is incoherent and rather pathetic is when a grown man and self-acclaimed Somali patriot advocates for the disunity of Somaliland communities, prematurely trying to create martyrs and riling up people along tribal lines, while at the same time clinging on to the idea that political unity among all Somalis is the ONLY way forward. A real nationalist stays well connected to the greater ideals he/she claims to espouse and doesn’t contradict himself/herself with every bit of news coming out of ‘waxa-la-yidhii.com’. This hypocrisy that is unfortunately far too common in our Somali community is a sad state of affairs indeed.

^:D :D

Adeer as long you guys believe you're a different country as you do :D , the political unity of Somalia requires your disunity. There is no contradiction there Lander. Just a political strategy that is materializing now right before your eyes. No one cares how religious some of you feel about this phantom state, Somalia's territorial integrity must be preserved.

And btw, the tragedy in Lasanod is not 'waxa la yidhhi.com', you should be ashamed of yourself to hide atrocities committed by your clan militia.

Carafaat

Xiin, that is not true. For Somalia's unity one doesnt need disunity in Somaliland. The two State's can perfectly unite in a Confederate model.

If you want to create a country paralyzed by Somaliland's disunity, then propagandate disunity in Somaliland.

Dont forget that the Union of 1960 failed not only because of southern incompetence but also because of northern disunity.

^^Carafaat, adeer you had twenty years to think through the delusion. If you come back, all the talk about clans living in harmony , and yoga stuff your leaders are talking about now will be relevant. There will be no need for Khatumo, and the anti separatist activism.

But you stay with the delusion and the two state solution you're dreaming, and you will get a real dose of politicking never seen before. Khatumo is more real than your clan state assertion. It is genuine. It is just. And it occupies the moral summit of Somali politics.

Xiiny, you and I both know clan state's never function. Puntland is state based on clan, Khaatuma, Rascaseyr, West Punt State, Maakhir all outcomes of the clan based maamul's on the ground.

Somaliland never schrinked in size as your beloved Puntland has, no need to wish for the same to Somaliland.

If Khaatumo works, then it will work as well as Puntland has, and fall apart in 10mini clan States.

SSC opposition to Somaliland has mainly to do with the 'secession' part not with bad governance.

What Xinn is kindly trying to say is that; He would regard the implosion and total destruction of Somaliland is a political success. It's his goal.

We in turn most ensure the likes of Xinn - those who share his ideology regardless of their qabil- are destroyed. This can be in the streets of Burco, las anood, Borama, or any other city in Somaliland. Somaliland is past qabil, it's about ideology, and those who agree and share my fundamental right to separate are my brothers in arms and countryman..

XF: Thanks for analyzing this looming tragedy - Peace indeed needs a partner and unfortunately in Hargeisa and Buroa such figures are rare to find.

You are clearly an angry man, so angry that you cannot comprehend what you're opponents are saying. Somaliland (the Duriyadda clan) not need be destroyed. The notion of controlling other clans territory in the hope to claim soveirgn over colonial borders of former British colony need be destroyed by empowering 1) Khatumo admin to take root in their own territories Lasanod included, and 2) to support Awdal to build thier own admin.

Practical politicking to challenge a grand delusion that took hold of million of good men and women , i call it. You call hate.
