^Kkkkkk...

Great video to do some car-spotting, I saw several Jeeps, a Mercedes and did I see the back of a black Cadillac at 02:09?

Sisters were fine!

Is it just me or did people look much better back then? both the guys & girls...Maybe this is why I also hate Somali music...it just reminds me of bad memories of Somalia. :(

I also hate Soomaali music kulahaa. If you only knew the legend whose song is being used in this clip.

Gamuunti soo gentidaa

Gibilkii ay gaartaba gaddoomaayee

Geesiyoow nin kuu gafay maa

Guuleeysahaayee

Guuleysahaayo

Gabayga yeeraayo

Guuxaan baxaayo

Iyo gurbaankaan

Awgeedi Shaamboowaa

Loo guurihaaye

Loo guurihaay

Geedba geedka ka weyn

Sida loo gandoobaba

Adaa garataayee

Goshaan manaad gashato

Lafaha waa gariiraan

Alla waa gariiraan

Beautiful footage MMA, really gives me a feel of the way of life and civilization back then. I was running out of videos, but this is a fantastic addition. I finally know what Al-Uruba looked like from the inside. I'm going shift a scene to that specific bar in the video to make it more authentic (right now the interior in the story is imaginary). The newspaper-boy also gave me another minor character idea.

btw would you know where the Soviet Embassy was located, was it in Tokyo street?

Chimera, I think In the 70's The Russians use to have also their own village in Xamar. It was called Xaafada Ruushka.
