That's the more correct greetings here in North America..Jac is from another part of the earth, so he might not know better.

When you are wishing some one 'Merry Christmas',with out you realizing, you are agreeing that God has a son and he (the Son of God) was born on 25th December. Astagfirullah AlAzim Saying God has a children is a Shirk (the greatest sin in Islam), as Allah says in the Qur'an: "Allah begets not, nor was He begotten"[Quran, 112: 3].

Xmas is more of a adapted date than the actual birth date of nabi ciise. Basically no different than the Santa and tooth fairy fantasy stories. Wishing and celebrating a fake holiday to someone is just well so fake. I read somewhere little children growing up being told a fat Santa coming down the chimney lie and tooth fairy under the pillow and expecting them to grow up honest and truthful.

So when our non-Muslim neighbour used to say to us 'Eid Mubarak' on every such festival (not that this situation can be mapped to that one) he was somehow agreeing to that Allah is the only God and Mohamed is his messenger. A failure of logic if I ever saw one.

An advocate for logically crippled members in sol.

purposeless brains, are futile in action. They yield actions without doers.

Ps. first things should come first. if you have no purpose in life, then get one, before you talk about other things
