It was a good program but not fully comprehensive. Let's see the second and the third part, then we can make a good balanced opinion of it.

I really enjoyed the show, very well put together with a good range of scholars, their attempts to keep relating it to the modern day are a bit weak though and sometimes its as if he has to do it rather than something that fits in well with the overall show.
