The trophies are among photojournalism's most coveted prizes. Whooper Swans at dawn scooped second prize in the Nature Stories for Stefano Unterthiner from National Geographic who took the picture in Hokkaido Japan. Female wrestlers from Bolivia fighting for charity won second prize in the Arts and Entertainment Stories category for Daniele Tamagni from AP. A picture taken mid-flight of Tom Daly, the teenage British diver, during a competition in Singapore saw Adam Pretty win first prize in the Sport Stories section.
