I was also involved in the Internationl students Affairs. That was the best experience i made a lot of friends from korea, japan, china, kuwaitis, Khalijis and Australians.

I used to be in a Somali Students Union in my university. I found the Somali students very unco-operative, they all wanted to be part of it and yet not pay towards maintenance in paper or energy. This year, they dissolved it.

My credentials aren’t as accomplished as the rest

I'm just a student representative for my course at my university (I don't attend meetings any more ) and I'm also a member of the National Union of Student (NUS), but so is everyone other student in the nation...probably because you get so many discounts on things that'll keep you away from studying.

 

I almost forgot I'm also a member of two Islamic societies, one for women and another general one for all the universities in London.

I would like to join the Somali students association but I'm not too sure how but I did join the msn group they have.
