The state Attorney General red the expel report in front of the legislators at the house assembly.

Puntland government told the state's Attorney General about the accusation and a date was set for voting for or against the sustaining the MP's.

On 28th July the members of parliament voted for the bill, 26 of the legislators voted for their expulsion while 21 others voted against while four others did not vote.

The legislators who were sacked by Puntland's Parliament were, Ibraahin Maxamad Guure, Abshir Cabdi'Casiis Shiikh and Cumar Jamac Saleebaan.

The government accused the MPs breaking the law by backing a group that wants to divide Puntland, working with SSC rebels by supporting them financially and recruiting and arming militias against Puntland authority by taking steps to destroy Puntland security forces.

The Attorney General of Puntland added that there was sufficient evidence and a good number of witnesses accompanied with sound clips, videos and photos confirming the claims.

Goonle

These days look very unstable for Puntland. It is really hilarious to suggest that an MP that communicates with his constituency is Committing Treason. I wonder how many MP's Farole bribed this time.
