Dagaal Ma Dhicin! /Miyaan Sidaa Ku Eegan!?

Recommended Posts

After calling Africa, i learned few new catchy phrases words alla word of de Jour.

Mogadishu word of the day:

- Dagaal Ma Dhicin -

This is a new phrase coined in Mogadishu recently.

Intrepretation: if The TFG led by the Ethiopian stooges insist on their ill-advised policy of including troops from front-line states,( i.e Ethiopia ) in the supposedly agreed peace keeping forces, some circles believe it will lead us to a worser and far more disastrous second civil war than the one we experienced in early 1990's. Thus " Dagaal Ma dhicin " meaning the first civil war would look like as a small negligible skirmishes between some untrained nominal ********s.

Hargheisa word of the day:

- Miyaan Sidaa Ku eegan?! -

Another new phrase coined in Hargheisa.

Intrepretation: Somaliland will not stand idle and step aside and cannot afford to ignore if Ethiopian troops invade the southern regions of Somalia. Somaliland have no other option other that to join the fight and insurgency against the Ethiopians and will launch an offensive attack on Puntland. Their speculation is once Yeey and his Ethiopian forces are done with vultures of Mogadishu,( which will be unattainable ) Harghiesa will be the second target/victim and believe this may embolden Ina-Yeey as he wants to leave a legacy of Somaliland subjugation and occupation.

A Somali Adage:

" Nin qeyrkii loo xiiroow adna soo qooyso "

1988 - it was " Xabadi Keentay - Xabadi sugto "

2005 - Dawlada Isbaara Qaadka -

2005 - Dawlada Fadhiidka -
