Somaliland is for Somalilanders, plain and simple!

If you committed a crime and you're not from Somaliland your asz will be deported to where ever you came from. If you're willing obey the law and being productive in the society then maybe will let you stay there for the time being, just because we're too kind not becuase you belong there.

I'm stating the facts saaxiib..

Trust me man when I say this, we're better off apart. There is no such thing as Greater Somalia ama Somali weyn. At least I haven't seen it in my life time. I REALLY DON'T THINK IT EVER EXISTED.

Exhibit 1: My beloved nation of Djibouti.

Your Somali love affair is just the illusion my friend. The sooner you realized that the better you will be

i believe the main criteria for visa is whether you are a guest of the government or a guest of the local tribe!

if you are a guest of the government ,the police can deport you for practically no reason..government can't be trusted ,they'll just suddenly deny knowledge and you'll get deported.

--some journalist--

the trees and hills of berbera won't abandon you..and if you are a guest of the locals, you are according to police-logic not considered a foreigner, wheras even if you are a somali ,if you are a guest of the somaliland government..you're lucky if you get deported...your "friends" from the government might just shoot you to avoid trouble with the locals and their police...

--woman selling grocery in market--

my advice: if you work with government ,you should prioritize you loyalties, talk to representatives of the local population and and declare in case of differences who's side you'll take, and that you're working on a project with government envolvement that you don't need to talk about..that "project" no matter how fancy or high up will not come before tha public well-being.

--anonymous U.N.D.P. employee--

--kuwa dawladda waa niman odayaal ah..waxay xisaabsanyihiin mahrajaan/carwo joogto ah oo magaalada ka socota.shoobaro haduu dhaco burcad badeedaa imaahee, ama iyaga dhexdoodaa is qaban"rabsho ha dhalinin hadii kale carwadaa nalaga xiraa.."
