The problem of the scessionst must to be solved some time in near future, polically or military. It is a part of solving somali probelms.

Ok fair enough! but you threw curve ball claiming this whole khusuusi thing was about preserving the Somali sovereignty when it's clearly centered around the idea of 'liberating' certain provinces that belongs to certain clan from another clan. Wuxuba waa intaa. Wax intaa dhaaf siisan maaha.

I sure hope others don't think like you. It would have been disastrous for Puntland if they actually think they could solve any problems outside of their boundaries. :D

Everything is clan based if you look it from one point of view, But you don’t see the whole picture let’s say if the clan rebels of Somalia in1991 would have been successful, And could of kept the Somali state intact. Would u still claim their entity was owned to Clan Movements, the same way Our Ethiopian neighbour owe their ethnic Struggle legacy, that’s exactly what shaped Ethiopia And Eritrea, The same way the Somaliland/SNM was the successor of the former British Protectorate

Forget Puntland and be for Somali unity!

It's about Qabiil. If it were about preserving Somali sovereignty then Borama and Hargeysa would be included in the areas needing the liberation. It's called SSC=qabiil degaans.
And what is Somaliland is equal? Somaliland = ? or Somaliland is equal to what?

Qudhac-The Somali state and its people have reverted to precolonial socioeconomic and political structures-simple meaning Qabiils for most part enjoy sovereignty over their lands while commerce and people easily move about across all borders.

With this new reality in mind, each qabiil has the right to decide what its future will be. I personally hope they will come under one Somali State but if that fails-the goal should be to unite as many tribes as possible and this is where SSC comes in.

Any willing tribe that wants to unite with other Somalis tribes and have Mogadisho as their capital should be encouraged and welcomed. I hope people of Borame will have the same urge as SSC and perhaps reer Toghdeer.

And who knows after that :D

Xaaji-The Ethiopian example is inundated with many flaws and will likely fail in the long run.

I like this Xaaji Xunjuf finally he admitted a hidden sentiment that many secessionists have kept in their hearts.. Somaliland and SNM is synonymous... Kashif badanaa ninku..

Both Somaliland & Somalia are two countries suffering from anarchists that use clan lines to cause problems.

If Somalia can overcome that like Somaliland then the two countries could have better cooperation to eliminate qabyaalad....
