No this is not a political issue, it's between Al Shabaab who have been trying to get a foothold in the mountains. They have used this man to do so. While SSC is fighting over a large area. This man is holed up in a single village where he was raised.

It wouldnt be the first time the Puntland goverment killed people who were their captives in prison. This shows you how low some people regard life of people. Killing people in prison. Wasnt it enaugh that they are in prison and freedom is taken away.

 

Wonder why many Sool people stopped supporting Puntland? Even some politicians changed their loyalty cause many their people from Sool were being killed in Garowe prisons.

Mr. Donyaale is a Makhiri from Bargaal, he was brutally executed by the PIS to avenge for unexpected defeat that they faced.

The house that was attacked back in 2008 had those responsible for kidnapping foreigners in it. They have even tried to hijack planes and land them in Laasqoray last year. These are guys that take orders from Mr. Atam, who is a man that has made it official that he is on the side of Al Shabaab and wants to overthrow to Puntland government.

 

They choose to arm themselves and hide in the mountains, they thought they could come down and capture territory, but were quickly sent running back, either captured or killed. Even regular army's have a great deal of trouble attacking people hold up mountains, so we know Puntland did go there first!

 

Regardless, Mr. Atam is responsible for the death and destruction that has occurred he wants to use armed men to promote Al Shabaab.
