BBC vs TNG

Recommended Posts

Duufaan

Is not the time to ask the BBC reporter to leave in Baydhabo? Because the BBC(somali section) is not fair news broadcasting.

All sections of Somali websites reported today, that the UN team visiting Moqdisho was stopped for hours in the port. The BBC chose not report the incident but reported positively the visit.

The first July, BBC reported the celebration which took place in Moqdisho but stopped short the one in Baydhabo rather it was all about the ethiopian.

What has TNG to lose to ask the BBC reporter to leave?

not more than what the BBC(somali section) to lose.

Today BBC(somali section) report was very damaging, true or not.

will it be last report from Baydhabo.?

Wax la yiraahdo xoriyada saxaafadda ayaa jirto, macalinka.

So a wariye reports a news clip that won't favour your political views, so you shut down the news organization s/he works for -- it is an archetypical behaviour on a verge of totalitarian state, not wax Soomaalida u baahan tahay today. Waa wax laga tegay, oo lagu yaqiinay the old regime.

A reporter has every right to report what he views the news are, what he sees the way news happens, as slanted as it may seem to some, as long as it isn't libelous or slandering. [A dhaqan warbaahinta Soomaalida lagu yaqaanin, dad dhif ayaa wax 'libelous' la dhaho garan karo, inta kale waxaa arkaan ama maqlaan ayee iska qoran, thus our media being as messy as our country is in currently.]

Marka no office of Been Been Sheeg, Shabeelle, Hornafrik, et al, should be closed, regardless what they propagate -- it should never be closed.

Want to counterpoint? Open your own media organization. It won't take that much.

And for this federal government. So far, as far as I know, they don't even have an official news portal that can accessed to and quick. Even C/qaasin's transitional dowlad had an official website.

Much about press freedom, Even US was about to bomb Aljaziira network. Even if they do not close the BBC office in Baydhabo, They can attack the fairness of news reporting in all level. BBC are recieving so many complaining already and adding a goverment complain will not be a good for those who running the show.

As I wrote, attack the message, not the messenger. Counterpoint their reporting, release war saxaafi from the government office, hold a press conference...wax la sameeyo waa badan yihiin than closing a poorly lit office.

Duufan, The BBC will only come to its sense when the TFG gets its act together. Right now everybody know that thw BBC, Shabbele and Horn Afrik are all in the same game. Once their main sponsor is brought down to Earth they will change.

No need to lock them up, the TFg needs to keep doing what it is doing..

Look at the propoganda, You cant take the truth that things are looking since the Islam Courts took power.

Your critisizing the BBC on the report they gave which is ****** because all they did was asking ordinary people how their lives have changed, and the people themselves refuted any so called terror cells. I think its time you open your eyes and give respect where its due, even western news groups are starting to see the propoganda and rubbish the TFG are on.

The report of rounding up young men from Xamar some of whom were released after they claimed they were to visit Huseen Aidid while the rest are still in jail and the presence of ethiopian troops in the main military barracks must be the source of bother. Is it a secret that Ethiopian troops have already shown up in many parts of the country and more of them are coming in support of the TFG?

When you have so much dirt you want hide it makes sense to attack people who will report on you.

This is just a small event of what is to come if people in Xamar let this government come to their door-step. All the more reason to reject this corrupt institution.

The courts are no more than the occupiers of lower Shabbele. This nationalisam and religiousness is utter bull. A single clan union is now pretending to represent the whole country. The fact that warlords, druglords and individuals who still commit crimes are hiding behind the religion is shameful.

The Ethiopian argument is also bogus, for the reason that the TFG troops do not need anyones protection. The clan courts can not attack Baidoa thus pretend it is because of the Ethiopians.

The role of the BBC and other Radios are not that important. Somali's have many different media outlets and the net has played a major role in giving differnes of opinion.

Today Shabbele has Ethiopian troops have left Gedo, a joke since they were never there.

^^^ Even judging by your remarkable standrads, it's still shocking how you've turned against the Courts in matter of weeks. Though you've been quite a spectacle, maybe next time you should hold your horses long enough for your beloved Adeero Yey declares his cards. smile.gif Just a thought..

Horn, as an informed person can you rell us, why the Ethiopian invasions are so short lived. Why invade everyother week, and when it is conveniant for Shabbele, Horn Afrik and so on. :D

Horn, I will not even mention who you support, you nationalist you. ;)

Wiilo. I find your comments quite amusing. Why take my words out of context dear? I belive that these clan based media outlets [bBC. Shabbele, Horn Afrik] will come to their sense much like how Dayniile.com did when Qaynyare left the scene. Inaha Allah when the lower Shabbele is liberated and Inda Cade is gone. Then we will hear no more of it.

Duke-

At least you did not try to put up a fight old man. Who said they "invaded". Sxb sure they have not "invaded" but they have crossed the "border" of the present "Somali Republic". They have entered areas into Dollo, Luugh, and Beled Xaawo districts.

Sure they have not shown agression and they were respectful enough to the civilian population, but they have entered our territory and it was reported correctly by Shabelle, HornAfrik, etc as well as the Gedonet that you have chosen to ignore.

Horn, I will not even mention who you support, you nationalist you.
;)

Oh by all means mention it adeer. smile.gif What you should also mention along is whether that individual can be accused of kow-towing to the Habash. ;)
