The violence in Laascaanood is the result of Somaliland being led by useless people especially ina kaahin, he should be sacked as soon as possible.

Tallaabo,

What Sland does or does not is beside the point. These communities simply don't want part of the secessionist project. It is that simple.

I like the young journalists of Somaliland. They always ask the hard hitting questions.

WE all know there are no working institutions in Somaliland. If there is peace , it is the result of tribal peace. The tribes cooperate and arrest their criminals and the police is just there for show of force just in case. The best the local police does is subdue conflicts among tribes ( Qabaa'ilka ayey kala dhex galaan).

The idea of Puntland intervening is a false hope. They fully cooperate with Somaliland to keep the status quo. No change is expected especially the Reer Bari leadership which dealing Somaliland under the table just like Faroole.

I repeat, Kulmiye people and Biixi are masters of dirty tricks. THey hired outlaws to murder people between Dila and Gabiley in 2009 to create tribal conflict and make Gabiley switch to Siilaanyo, they did in Sanaag to create hostility between east and west burco, especially to discourage anyone from east Burco to vote Waddani. While there are some clan revenges and others, I do believe Kulmiye is involved. Most of the young that were murdered are members of the opposition.

in conclusion, as Che said, these people do not to be part of these project. The dilemma is if Sool goes away it will be a project confined within Togdheer , W.Galbeed and Awdal. in other words, the end of the project.

We all know the Somaliland project in the east was always fragile. It was maintained through bribes and divide and rule. If the locals unite, it will be over within weeks. The problem the Garoowe government is corrupt and will not lift a finger to help them.

The problem has always been the unity of reerka. Garowe will be forced to take side if this turns to be a real effort by SSC to free themselves from Muse's mafia.

If this, if that, if if. In this world nothing aligns for anyone in row like a line of ducks. You have to create the opportunity.

There has been many opportunities including today's. And Garowe tried to take advantage previously but they were defeated, fairly and sqaurely. You cannot possibly expect someone to deliver when they have not left anything behind in their fforts but still failed. That is the situation in Garowe. They have been defeated, both militarily and politically.

And this time round, there is nothing that is going to change from another guaranteed defeat. Which is why Garowe is playing lip-service more than anything else.

So this "if this, if that, if if" is just that - words on a screen.

Not really. That is far from truth. The clan itself is divided - naturally. It is not b/c Somaliland spent anything on it. Somaliland just welcomes anyone who comes to her and where our interests meet. That includes uniting the whole Sool clan clan if that meets our interests. So this idea that Somaliland is actively dividing, is just not true.

There is very meagre resource in this part of the world which is not enough for the whole Dhulbhante clan to divide up. It is only enough for one or two smaller clans - and Somaliland helps those smaller clans to gain access to those resources.

That fundementle truth is not going to change anytime soon.

In fact, as Somaliland's economy grows and its military prowess increases, the opposition's significant reduces.

Today, Somaliland is at very strong position, much stronger than it was 10 years ago. And those who oppose Somaliland have become weaker.

Back in 2018 when Somaliland Army went as close as 25km outside Garowe, it was Ex-President Faroole who went on the phone with President Muse Biixi.

The National Army were retreated to where they are today which is around 50km from Garowe.

Lol why are you resorting to lying? SNM never came 25Km to Garowe, stop the lies. Also, you have got your facts mixed up! During Farole SNM captured Lasanod and Puntland troops were outskirts of L.A. You think just because people do not respond to your bravado you can get away with fabrications???

During Tukaraq war, it was well documented the frontline did not move one bit and no side had upper hand to dislodge others. In the end UN and international communities intervene and negotiated a ceasefire.
