There is an immense difficulties finding a reasonable and at the sametime ready-for-commitment individual(both genders ofcourse) in whole UK.

If you are educated in your mid/late 20s and don't want give-in to the family choice temptation, there is a sense of powerless and frustration all the time. However, that doesnt mean to give-up looking for your choice.

The worst case-scenario is, to end-up in a kind of frustration/protest marriage.

Good luck to anyone in the same boat.

NB, you're still young, so what if there isn't a guy who meets your standards in London...If you stop looking so hard, he might be right under your nose... icon_razz.gif

Hi Everyone,

This goes out to ROOBLEH..

Walalo you dont know 2 s***s about me so Im just baffled how you think Im confused or wotnot.

I couldnt DISAGREE more with what you said below

"You seem someone who wants to settle down soon but is unable to choose whom she wants to marry without the approval of her friends. "

a)I said I aint looking for marriage or anything, my post was merely stating that there arent any normal/good brothas left

b)I cant believe you assumed I wouldnt be with someone my friends disaprove of.. gimme a break.. come 2 think of it my friends always disaprove of the ppl I get 2 know.. that never stopped me, I live my life 4 me and not others thank u!

You seem a bit weird mostly because you are amused at my statement that I will never go for a guy younger than me or even coupla months older .. Thats my personel choice and probably evry woman on this planets choice 2 (who in their right mind would be with a young guy?)

HELL NO!!

You really cracked me up @ I need 2 address some "issues" just because I want a guy a bit older, thats just the STANDARD so get used it.

P.S I

Resistance, I couldnt agree more.. there are too, too many somali girls in london

WG? Have you heard about the local Somali youth club? Word has it the youth workers there are MashaAllah, TabaarakAllah. ;)

[Edit]

Honestly though, I'm seeing great sisters and brothers here in London. Yet, most are telling me that they can't find someone decent to settle with. I don't get it, is this a case of not finding the right person for you?

There are many eligable brothers, in that age group, who are educated, decent, have a job etc.etc.etc. in London and everywhere and yes, they are single. It's the same for sisters, yet, I've heard many brothers say exactly what your saying now. Anyway, I'm saying that, it's not cool generalise. :(
