And how is this newsworthy, if I might ask?

Cause a lot of people were spreading propaganda that Somalilanders were supporting Kenya in the case. Sure few crazies might do but most sane Somalilanders including the elders support the Somalia side.

I understand.

But is it not “Nabad&Nolol “ and their supporters who were the ones spreading these cheap propaganda in the first place?

Were they not the ones who from the get go have been trying to use the legal maritime case at the  ICJ as some sort of political gambit against anyone who opposed them, from somalilanders, to Jubalanders, and everyone in between?

There are a lot of irresponsible 'journalists' walking around with cameras and microphones in the streets of Hargeisa and 'interviewing' morons. Despite deep political differences and past grievances, the majority of the Northerners I know or meet are honorable people.

Well, the withdrawal of Kenya from the court proceedings changed the whole game. Everyone is now in the bandwagon, yet a victory could enhance Farmajo's standing among the public. Somalis are looking some sort of victory after long defeats. It is phycological thing.

In the case of Puntlanders & Jubblanders most likely but not Somaliland. Two old men got interviewed in the middle of Hargeisa saying the sea belongs to Kenya marka daadkas oo kale inay umad dhan 3.5 million ah sumcada ka dilaan ba ka hadalsiisay odayaashan.

Nothing can ever enhance Useless Farmaajo’s  standing among the public. The Somali public does not like nor want a wannabe dictator in office...so kindly reserve your wishful thinking for your cheesy wet dreams, Mudane Galbeedi!
