LOL@Juxa. Anigaaba isku naxay. Here you need a 4 year degree, plus student teaching for 3 months, plus passing the State exam, Plus another exam they call PL. Then you need Lots and lots of mentoring, building meeting, curriculum building, professional development classes, endless certificates on management. Waa headache socoda. The first 3 years before you get tenure, you are like dispossable.

UK ma teacher baa la iska noqon karaa? I wish I had skipped all this headache. There is islaan habaryartey who is a teacher's aide but always claimed to a be teacher. We work for the same district and she always asked me" How come I dont see you on staff meetings?" And I didnt know the reason. Then one day I was asked to put together an informational meeting for one of Somali community and was told I can have a Somali Aide from the district. I was elated! You can guess who I got as an aide! Ceebey tacaal. I couldnt say anything.
