Recommended Posts

Abiy vows to continue the fight. Reinforcements being brought from all over Ethiopia but this could create another headache for Abiy as OLF is gaining momentum in Western Oromia.

Che,

Thanks for the update. The Awash Post report summarized the whole issue.

You also mentioned that Oromo s are exempted. Is that true?

Airstrikes in Mekelle and other parties in Tigray.

It that is the case, this is a big war to destroy the TPLF.

How Abiy has allowed the northern command to keep all those military hardware?

It seems Pompeo and America had green lighted this action.

Yes, Abiy had to move the federal forces from Western Oromia. He needed Oromo Liyu Police to keep OLF in check though Liyu's loyalty is in question. The moment federal forces left Western Oromia, OLF and locals started killing Amhara.

THey are also saying that the TPLF is smuggling weapons to western Oromia.

Abiy had alienated all main Oromo groups that supported him.

Jawhar and Queero

Lema Magrasa who led the uprising from inside.

The main opposed released from jail and formed Oromo Federalist Congrees

OLF rebels who relocated from Eritrea.

All that is left is Amhara.

War is somethimes the great equalizer. Certain things needs to be settled by force especially secession. And we Somalis are debating for 30 years.

This might not be a civil in the sense of effecting all of Ethiopia. It will be a forceful preservation of Abyssinia. The Iraqis forced the Kurds by flexing their muscle and stopped  the project by force. The Spanish punished the Catalan separatists. It is a natural progression of events that has no other options.

THe alternative is for Abiy Ahmed to resign and get a new leader acceptable to the TPLF, and Abiy will never give up power. His mother told him that he will be the seventh king of Ethiopia when he was a child. With the Amhara behind him he won't stop.

This issue could have been settled early if Abiy acted forcefully when they banned the federal government entering Tigray.

On the other hand,  Ethiopia should have been desolved like Yugoslavia long ago.

We have to wait and see what America does. They  either depose him or will allow war and dissolution of the old empire.

I hope that the slow man in Villa-Somalia will now understand that Somalia doesn't need Abiy, and Ethiopia. They need us now, and we should use our well earned clout to get our agenda.

Nin asagiiba dhooqa ku jira maxaad u hoos tagi.
