Khat should be banned, do you have the numbers in SL?

The  Somali productivity is stollen by this drug, all work stops at lunch time.

So much for MMA and maakiri1 wish that the government would use this coronavirus for something good, like banning the Khat and winning the people out of it.

Unfortunately where there is so much money involved, where there is so much gangs and crony lobbyists involved, nothing good happens.

In Ethiopia, this was exposed during Meles days. The Oromo, Somali and Hareri are the producers and traders. Meles comes from an area which is least affected by Khat. Actually in Afar and Tigray at that time was banned so police can arrest you.

Yet when Kenya tried to interfere with Khat markets in Somaliland, Djibouti and Yemen, Meles was first one to play games and threaten Kenya with total destruction/Khat.

Hipocrisy has no bottom where money and power are involved.
