Somali gay community?

Recommended Posts

Homosexual degeneracy is found in every society and what is funny is that tolerating them or trying to give them equal rights increases them exponentially.Back in home,You would never see a queer because society puts them in their place-closet- The most offensive somali insult is calling someone fag.we are by nature anti-fag people. smile.gif

Peacenow

People have the right to talk about this devient behavior because majority of us agree that homo lifestyle is the most disgusting unnatural lifestyle.

A Pig is more respectful and holier than a flaming fag.

Besides this is a Somali issue, If I were you I would stay away from it.

Thanks

Now, carefully read it again, seems like you didn't get my drift mr.

I read your post quite thoroughly, and it seems you misunderstand my intentions. It was never my intention to advertise anything, just to post this story which, no matter how you or I feel about gays, is quite interesting.

Also I don't NEED to advertise anything, their website is there on the internet for anyone to see and, before rudy jumps in with another monstrous accusation, I didn't start it.

I apologize if I have caused you offense, but I don't care what seems "unacceptable" to you, Oz. If it's a general consensus on this forum that this thread needs to go, then let it be deleted and let this issue be swept back under the carpet where you say it belongs.

But I won't sit here and watch you accuse me of "meddling" and "advertising" negative aspects of Somali society, or -even more ridiculous- Rudy's tirade about me "degrading" Somalis. I find it absolutely insulting that after all the love and time I've invested in Somalia, I've become an antagonist.

^^ Bro, I do not have anything against this thread, in fact there was a need for it, and discussions to be opened.

I don't get why some people are making personal attacks on the poster of the thread, rather than someone else who is actually PROMOTING it.

They're just two individuals, so please do not take it as representing Somalis..

We love you Sherban..

Of course you are advertising the story by posting a thread on Somaliaonline. Now if you type in Google 'Somali Gay Community' your topic will surely be the first one to appear as the first page. There goes more exposure on the matter!

Sherban Shabeel,

You might find it interesting but to many Somali Muslims they find it utterly disgusting and disturbing. There is no need for you to bring it to our attention. Most Muslim Somali's have no thoughts on the matter. The Creator will deal with these people in time. 'This little thing' as you call is unislamic behaviour or actions and is an unnatural way of life. These people have firstly lost deen (religion) and secondly daqanimo (culture). For those reasons and the chemical imbalance in their brains have chosen to turn towards the same sex.

I do hope this thread is deleted and swept under the carpet and remains there. It seems to me that you are almost trying to normalize the path that these Somali people have chosen to take. There is nothing fascinating about them.

PS: I do not have anything against you Sherban, just my opinion.

You don't need to search "Somali gay community". Just google "Somali community" and look at the fifth result. That stuff is out there for everyone to see, without me needing to advertise anything.

Also if we're discussing homosexuality, personally I don't care what people do in their bedroom as long as it doesn't involve children or animals or torture, etc.. I find it a tad repulsive, but I don't hate gays. However many people in my country do. You should have seen what happened when they tried to organize a gay march in Bucharest.

That being said, all I was trying to do is raise a discussion (which seems to already be happening), not to "normalize" any behaviour.

On a serious note, only one person can set up a website and call it "Gay Community" ,,, it doesn't even take one to be Somali but after all it is the Internet.

I can now have my own website and call it "Saudi Gay Community" ...... no one can be so sure unless they are known and have public events.

Did you see their objectives ? :D ,,, :

Our main objectives are:

* To provide and share information regarding homosexuality in general and more specifically in relation to Somalian culture and religion.

* To create an accepting support network within the Somalian gay community.

* To provide a space for Somalian gay & lesbians to meet, share experiences and socialise.

* Initiate an honest and open discussion about homosexuality within the Somali community.

* Promote positive images of Somalian gay and lesbians in Somali communities.

* To liaise with agencies that can provide professional help and support for gays & lesbians living in the UK.
