Shabeel, your forgetting a determinant factor in this equation, in the Lebanese side, they didn't have skinny feet nomads running around the city killing and raping what ever comes their way like apes, and the most important thing to consider, is that Lebanese are rational people, unlike what you have on the other side, there is literally no brain functioning, but as a Darwin believer, there is a possibility for a similar trend to develop after 8k years.

I think the comparison is quite solid. The Lebanese Civil War killed about a quarter of a million people, which is on a similar scale with the civil war in Somalia.

There were atrocities, massacres committed in Lebanon that weren't committed in Somalia. In certain aspects, it was more savage over there during the war.

It was a war that reflected deep divisions within the Lebanese people, and a perfect occasion for foreign powers to exert their influence. Just like SOM.

What I'm saying is that, if Lebanon could do it, so can Somalia.

look at this monkey trying use words like "equation", " rationale" and determanant factor in order to pass his silly stereotypes as opinion.

Shabeel tnx sxb.. I was talking about this same topic with few of my friend the other day..

we all agreed that Lebanon is the best country to compare with Somalia..not only how it is re building it self, but even how the Lebanese people benefited the struggle they went thru..

If you look at Argentina today or even Brazil, the top rich people are them and running the countries.. Even in Africa Lebanese people are doing their thing today.. as for us Somalis, I think we are also on the driver seat of a huge gain. Somalis ared oing businesses all over the world today and hold many passports. We are living lives that 90% of us couldn't have back home even if it was peace today so alhamdulilah...

anything that goes up comes down and no one can always be at the bottom unless they are dead. So we have to keep our hopes high and continue to educate our selves and our kids because we will have a much brighter future iinsha allah....

Wareer Badanaa!!!

Don't worry folks, this will all pass and we'd be better people because of this. Many countries thru out history went thru what we are going thru now, and came out for the better. Might or might not happen in our lifetime, but all this will come to pass someday. neve give up hope. smile.gif
