Why they do not leave such talk for their chit chat. Its just too much humiliation.

Oil, Fishing, border conflicts, Qatar, UAE activities, too much Ethiopia/Eritrea travels...so much pointless face book, yet nothing on most important issues:

Constitution

Turkish co-operation

Practical Agriculture food production activities

States, regions co-operation

Ethiopian prime minister Abiy had asked even Qatar to help create 40 thousand man navy to protect the the maritime region of the horn of Africa.

It is very strange that landlocked nations like Uganda, Ethiopia, Burundi and other are trying to take control of our sea.

Rather than prepare their  eventual withdrawal from Somalia in the near future , landlocked nations want to take over maritime resources. If the Farmaajo foreign policy continues, we might lose the whole country. Farmaajo is a good man but,  half way his mandate shows that he gave up a lot to others without getting back anything.

If this any other president the whole nation would have been arms to depose him.

I suggest to Farmaajo to open new and different kind of talks with Somaliland and try to salvage something.

@galbeedi

A good man, probably for his family, but not as a leader. What we know of Cheeseman so far is all negative. For start, he is a complete fraud. His so called nationalist credentials are no where to be found when the going getting tough.

As the old Somali saying goes, you will only learn the true character of a man if you spent time traveling with him, or fought alongside him  in wartime, or you had to rely on him to use his wordsmith to defuse a tense situation bringing peace and brotherly between foes and friends.

2 years of Cheeseman leadership, the only thing we have learned so far are,

1. He hides when the going gets tough - exactly when a real man is supposed to shine and make his mark.

2. He is obedient servant that never says no to anything.

3. He is very low IQ person that cannot objectively or subjectively communicate a point clearly

4. There is more reason to think that he is a boogeyman used by CIA or other foreign powers to do their bidding without any regards to the interest of the people he is leading. Case in Point, why he is unable to relinguish his USA passport and represent his country at the UN.

Arafaat

The thread subject is, An international body (IGAD) is hiring an external expert to support writing and develop the policies of the country and government?

Hasn’t this been the rule rather then the exception?
