On the dogs thing I was just mocking the gaalo and how they would jump up to save animals in a war torn country without a hint of shame.

Again, you're talking about two separate things, two separate efforts. There are organizations which help animals, and organizations which help people. I don't see how one interferes with the other.

What I was pointing out with that comparison is that helping a human being or a creature in one corner of the world doesn't mean you don't care about a human or a creature in another corner of the world.

 

In other words, saving the gorillas from extinction has nothing to do with the plight of Congolese war orphans. Your point is such a non-argument, I find myself surprised that I'm arguing against it.
