Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia leaders to meet in Asmara

Recommended Posts

Republic of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo is leading efforts to consolidate gains made at the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation by facilitating the prospect of a tripartite agreement on economic Integration between the countries of the Horn.

President Farmajo, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Eritrea’s President Isaias Afwerki are scheduled to meet in Asmara on 6th and 7th September to hold discussions on strengthening the economic and security stability of the region.

The leaders would also discuss measures to end all political and social conflicts between the countries of the horn to promote harmony and a happy coexistence between neighbors of the horn.

President Farmajo’s vision is to promote free trade flow, and a mutual economic cooperation between all the countries of the Horn of Africa.

Somalia seeks to play a key role in economic and social integration of the Horn of Africa to foster trade and investment, and to improve connectivity between the people and businesses of the Horn.

In Beijing, Somalia signed the Belt and Road Initiative that enhances connectivity and promotes economic development, and an agreement on improving Economic and Technical Cooperation between China and Somalia.

Somalia’s ambition to take the lead in facilitating a robust Horn of Africa trade bloc would foster stronger economic stability and development for the Horn nations.

The Chinese are indeed for the long run Somalia govt is very fragile it has to many foreign shakers the Chinese want security some assurances that their investment is protected I don't think the cheeseman can guarantee any of that. I think with this igu sawir next to the tigrayan leader of asmara  Mr afewerqi he only angers mr geele or perhaps failmaajo wants to replace Djibouti troops inside Somalia with the sawa camp militia of afewerqi.

As per source are saying, is that President Farmaajo's Tri-pate talks in Eritrea was at his request in order to Help Djibouti solve its conflict with Eritrea, so far Eritrea has agreed to relinquish the Djibouti lands, and Prisoners of wars it had taken during the 2008 border conflict!

Glad tidings are about to turn and good fortune on Djibouti, as Iasias Afwerki is determined to leave a good legacy behind by first mending the broken relations within its regions (HOA) especially that of its neighbors, after giving Djibouti back its land and POW, its excepted that Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Djibouti with UN will unilaterally announce that all Hostility in the Horn Africa has ended, then the Security Council under China, Russia, and UK will lift the sanction on Somalia and Eritrea as they both have matured Politically, with this sanctions lifted certain spoilers (Not Al-shabaab, as there is another solutions for it) in Somalia will face an humiliating end.

What do they think we have become?

They are gathering simply how to implement what UAE wants them to do, what America allows them to do and what each of them as chieftains can include their personal wishes needs wants under the UAE grand plan.

That is the bottom line.

Ethiopia has same trade agreements with Djibouti Kenya and Sudan...do you see anyone of them?

Do you see Isayas making friends with Sudan, Kenya, Djibouti? There is no meaningful economy talk without those three.

This is the great game and if successful everyone wins. Both Ethiopia and Eritrea leaders have interested in a successful outcome. This will not change the UAE policy in the region but may solve the stand of between Eretria and Jabuuti. The geopolitical competition in the region will only intensify the short term.

Farmaajo should be careful, never trust these Arabs and their puppets

Farmaajo is blocking Somaliland and becoming himself the UAE water-boy.

He already risked Turkey who is target of UAE/EGYPT/ERITREA for its base in Suakin. In the small Arab fracas competition Saudi UAE he also sides with UAE. Saudis are neutral between Djibouti and UAE in practice.

Farmaajo is now full time UAE water boy club member. Ethiopia and Eritrea must have frightened the day lights out of him. He might try to be on Abiy good side in case of ONLF. Regardless what he shows diplomatic to ONLF he is against them even connected to Jubaland case internally.

The UAE has no interest in seeing Eritrea, which it bankrolled its comeback to the international scene, make peace with Djibouti.  Let us hope Farmaajo isn't planning to take Djibouti to the slaughter house for his own interests. The UAE can't be trusted.

Maakhiri iyo Holac, don't believe and fall what the disgruntled Tigrey is spouting on here. He is miserable these days, for he cannot believe his Tigrey people becoming irrelevant and whatnot in Geeska Afrika so quickly. He was and is still defending Cabdi Ileey, his militia and his TV station since he was their biggest stooge.

This is nothing to do with Imaaraadka. It is an effort by dowladda Soomaaliya. Imaaraadka has zero interest to see wada shaqeyn ka dhaxeysa dowladaha Geeska Afrika, gaar ahaan Jabuuti iyo Eritareeya.

Yesterday, our Tigrey guest was chastising madaxweynaha Soomaaliya for alienating Imaaraadka and today, unbelievably, he is trying to sell this BS of dowladda Soomaaliya being an Imaaraad puppet. Cajiib, iskamaba warqabo.

Soon in the next few weeks, all the leaders of Jabuuti, Soomaaliya, Itoobiya and Eritareeya are going to meet in a summit.

If Eritareeya's sanction is lifted, it also helps the sanctions on Soomaaliya importing heavy weapons. It will be too lifted since it is tied with Eritareeya as well.

Weapons import sanctions being lifted with Eritareeya not supporting Barbaarta, it is game over for Barbaarta Soomaaliya argagax kala daalay.

Madaxweynaha Soomaaliya meel fog ayuu wax ka arkaayaa, not shortsighted lagu yaqaabo maryooleey.
