Ethiopia preventing Kililka to replace Iley- They want to destroy the autonomy

Recommended Posts

It has been common among Ethiopian politicians, especially last five years for the following points:

Basically it all boils down that there is too much autonomy in kililka and the Tigray who don't allow other kilils are allowing this because they are friends. The Tigray justification was that the Somali kilil is the main kilil that can prevent terrorism, long border, can solve the separatist problem internally and we are confident they are federalist.

So now that there is significant Somalis that want Iley gone but replaced orderly even with his choice. The Oromia kilil has been campaigning for Iley head. The Oromo are now in control of the Federal which means want Iley gone. For them this is just a cover the main things are:

1. The kilil Media is completely independent of the rest of the country and works as if kililka is a country.

2. The Education system is run and teaching children as if kililka is a country federated with Ethiopia

3. The Militia, Police and Liyu are more than what is needed to keep law and order are highly trained, regimented

4. Kililka has undertaken major projects like airports dams roads that no other kilil has done, by its own money

There fore if kililka is allowed to tranfer presidency on its own then all these structures will stay intact. Even ONLF can take over smoothly and with all this infrastructure call for independence. Kililka need to be cut to size acceptable to current powers.

All activities like creating chaos, employing hooligans burning church which is least expected in Somali kilil, never done even during outright war days, let alone now. Church burning killing of priests (specifically selecting priests from Tigray and no other places) is all planned and false flag operation.

Most Ethiopians are saying this is false flag. Killing priests only and specifically from Tigray is a well planned false flag.

The one and only objective is to prevent kilil to replace Iley orderly. The Oromo went and disrupted ESTV, took over Assembly hall, prevented assembly from gathering and even prevented cabinet from meeting, prevented SPDP governing party executive from meeting, but all the while want a conference in Dirdawa to go ahead.

They want violent change of leadership so the institutions can also be destroyed or incapacitated.

That is where the situation is. They propagate that Iley must go, but prevent every means that he can go except the violent one.

OO,

If that is the case , no Somali will accept a forced change or parachuting someone from outside.

When EPRDF wanted to change leadership they chose among themselves, they did not bring  an outsider. The Somali regional government have the right to chose its next leaders.

As I said  before,  the Dire Dawa conference has no teeth at all , and they have zero mandate. Neither Abiy nor Oromo can bring them in. If you are right , let Cabdi Illey speakout and tell us . He could simply convey that his intention is to resign and the Somali parliament will decide the next leader .

In the meantime, he could transfer the power to his deputy which  could make a smooth transition. The ball is in his hand, let him stop the false “ laba Kaclayn “ or what he calls “ Dib u Curasho “ to hold on power. Those of us who are old enough had seen the so called “ Laba Kaclayntii Kacaanka” of 1981 by late president Siyad Barre.

And please drop the so called TPLF who put ten years of blockade in the region.hundred of millions are poured to build few  symbolic reasons while the rest of the land starved. Who is going to fly to Qabridhahre while Jijiga itself has few flights a week.

Any way, stop arguing and do the changes within the government as soon as possible.

How can the guy resign? Its a question of even technical and logistics.

About 2 months ago the party, the executive, cabinet and assembly gathering s were possible and most changes were made that would enable him to resign provided at least an executive and assembly meeting was done.

This has been prevented by postponements and changing schedules of executives of kililka that are in the federal government.

The only small windw left now is if he has access to Radio or something else, which for sure will be misunderstood and some groups taking advantage of it will start hooliganism. If he simply announces resignation now that is calling for chaos.

Some prominent people are talking to the PM that even if he wins now to replace Illey, he is planting a most dangerous future.

Let Iley go orderly according to the constitution of kilil.

But there are also pushing PM to cut the Liyu and Somali Media using this as opportunity and show that Ethiopia is not afarid of some kilil. This group is his main base. Amhara, Oromo, opposition but not opposition when it comes to kililka

Will see which way he will choose.

OO,

do not address me like the regular people. Tolow ma shacabka ayuu Imoodayaa.

The parliament just convicted last week and voted on motions by Cabdi Illey doubling the size of districts from 90 to 180 making every village or well a district.

few moths ago he fired his cabinet and the Vice President and nominated his sister in law as vice presidential, whom I was willing to accept in order to avoid chaos.

Again stop the propaganda and start acting before things got from bad to worse.

What changed on your end?

You are stil trying to blame Iley when you know that the Oromo are preventing him in every step.

Aren't you the one who opened a thread blaming Somalis for something which can be false flag bomb in Addis which every single one of the suspects caught so far is Oromo?

Anyway there is news that Demeqe Deputy PM has gone to Jigjiga to meet Iley and he is one of the people that wanted that Iley should be allowed to have assembly meeting and do things properly.

The Oromo are insisting this time not disband Liyu (which is one of the main objectives) but are demanding that Liyu get out of cities.

galbeedi,

I did not know you are such an insider calling for Shide to be kililka president.

He was reading today on TV exactly word for word what you and Jawar write all the time. So many white lies saying "small number among Somali leadership". That was rich.

He was saying things even the Oromo nationalist Negere could not say about kililka.

Bad news for you and Jawar:

Kililka has been damaged to some degree, but there is enough capability to fix things quickly and continue the journey

The khat trade route the general trade route is still up for grabs since the Oromo did not get what they wanted and that is further war and destruction of kililka.

Prominent people that were not one sided have now seen the risk the Oromo can bring to the country in a hurry. They told Abiy that few more steps and the country will unravel in his hands.

By the way , it was the Somalis who rioted and attacked business not he Oromia.

How do you know who was who?

You can ask even your Amhara friends. They will tell you a Somali would not go burn a church kill a priest and to top it all search for a special priest to kill, that has to be a Tigray. Not an Oromo, not an Amhara, not Gurage..it has to be one from Tigray which is a rare find only a calculated planned group can find.

How come the hooligans started wrecking places and the Oromo Liyu that is called army and federal for this purpose were there in minutes yet did not stop a single hooligan nor saved a single shop?

Why are you going out of your way, and I am sure pictures have not made it yet to targeted propagandists, because the pictures need editing to show Somali which is not hard to do?

You cannot tell me you have inside information, because inside or outside that is not what happened. Jawar was waiting for live feed, but things did not go as planned. Now he has to wait for edited version. They are looking for actors to kill a priest holding kililka flag or even blue flag and singing Somalia anthem.

Some of you may not realize the difference, but kililka doing it its own way even after the damage will make a big difference for future.

Those Somalis who were running up and down breathless around the Oromo to be appointed as chiefs are now looking bad and humiliated. Still they should regret and correct their ways and not continue the wrong road they had started.

All dressed up no where to go for some people.
