I think it was the battle of Bi'r Ma'unah.

 

A short battle near the well of Maunah. The carrier was killed and ordered his tribesmen to kill the Muslims. Not one Muslim survived except Kaab ibn Zayd and Amr ibn Ummayah

i see you're all confused here...let me just clear up something for you...this battle wasn't bloody because the muslims were all killed...the opposite happened, a great number of non-believers were killed...and a country was turned over to the muslims. The country still belongs to muslims..

Now what was the name of this battle?...and i'll just add another question ...what was the name of the country that the muslim army won?

Persia modern day Iran.. battle of Yarmuuk. and lots of non believers were killed by the muslims.. noticably Khalid bin Waleed and Qac Qaac bin amr al-tameemi, Sacad bin Waqas was the Amiir... Am I right? chocolaato.. coz there was lots of battle were muslims won, and most of the arab countries became muslim by sord, specially in sham...

Syria wasn't under the rule of Persia.. they were under Romans...

 

I think, maybe it was Iraq, since they were under Persia... but atleast I got one of the answers.. ask more keep it coming.

the muslims fought against the Byzantine emperor(Heraclius) who ruled many countries one of them; syria, and so when the muslims defeated his army, they got syria. As for persia...the Byzantine emperor Heraclius defeated and permanently ended that great empire not the muslims.

AIn't that such a Coincidence when u add the 2 numbers, u'll get 114...which is also the exact numbers of surah's that are in the Quran.
