If every prominent person from Somalia was like Yey. He sat with elders and also 3 leaders of ONLF before he reached the conclusion that Puntland should not support separation or independence of kililka. It was just being organized then with full ONLF participation. What they told him was that they will stay if true autonomy is achieved and even if to separate will not be done by arms. Kililka is all destroyed and there is no unity at this time for fighting.

I think making business out of your brothers killing each other needed to stop. They might have been helping ONLF, but why help ONLF when ONLF is part of the problem in kililka itself before you go Ethiopia. ONLF themselves will tell you that was not conducted properly as a fight to free the Somali from Ethiopia.

You can make kililka self sufficient, self governing, self protecting...without creating bloodshed within kililka and pushing some tribes to Ethiopian arms.
