We're not jews/arabs we are one somali ppl!!! so called somaliland doesnt exist. It is a dream. period. not recognize! anyone who knows somalis know that ppl in ssh which are the same subclan as ppl in bari/nugal/mudug starts with 'h'. why would they would the subclans go join completely different clan?!?! called soamliland?!? that's like saying todheer is part of puntland. U see how ****** that sounds? why would somaliland subclan join differnt puntland clan? no subclans wants to be a minority in anothr clan's state. period. also there will be 5 states and xamar as federal territory similar to the map on "Federal and Federal Now' topic. if u read new charter u would kow it takes more then two regions to form a state. this will all be discused/worked out in the next four years by commities and elders etc. mr. odayaal, you try to sound smart but your not. you are scared because you dont want somalia to be peaceful. that is ur whole argument for begging countries to recognize u! U know that riyaale the butcher/war criminal is begging to be presidnt of somalia. just like egal(ilaahay ha u naxariisto) wanted it too. What about tuur? He believes in somalia and he was aidiids vice president! so what does it mean taht the man who made so called somalialand now says he was just joking and playing politics!!! Do you think the corrupt killer riyaale would choose bankrupt so caleld somaliland instead of chance to rule new recognized somalia government?!? of course not! all so called somalialnd leaders wants to rule one united somalia. it doens't matter what ppl like u think. you r not even living there man. Keep dreaming oldman--Somalia is One!!! Always and Forever!!
  2. Omar gets 'new tummy' and a fresh start in life Picture: CRAIG ABRAHAM Four-year-old Omar Muse Mohamed shows his "new tummy" July 17 2003 By Lucy Beaumont When four-year-old Omar arrived in Melbourne on Christmas Eve, he carried much of his bowel in a plastic bag. When he returns home to Somalia on Monday, able to run and play for the first time, he will take clothes and toys and his "new tummy". "He pulls up his jumper and says, 'Finished'," said Moira Kelly, of the Children First Foundation, as Omar Muse Mohamed wriggled happily in her arms yesterday. "His family would never have seen Omar with such a personality. He was so gaunt and malnourished," she said. Rushed to the Royal Children's Hospital, Omar was anaemic, had not eaten for weeks and his bowel was infected and bleeding. Photographs show that a failed colostomy operation - required because Omar was born without an anus-had left part of his digestive system dangling near his feet. For years, he has carried his growing intestines around in a plastic bag taped to his chest. The tape left cracks in his skin. Once he was well enough, surgeon Paddy Dewan re-connected Omar's bowel, unblocked his urethra and created an anus for him. Although Somali doctors had tried to correct the birth defect, which affects one in 5000 babies , Omar would not have survived much longer in his native country. "Instead of going home to Somalia now, they would have been burying him earlier than now," Professor Dewan said. The life-saving treatment was made possible by Ms Kelly, Victoria's Australian of the Year, with $15,000 in donations from Rotary, corporations and expatriate Somalis, as well as free medical aid. "Eight weeks ago we did our first poo in our bottom," Ms Kelly said. "We were all crying and celebrating like it was a birthday party." Ms Kelly has helped about 180 impoverished or war-affected children to receive urgent medical treatment in Australia, Britain and the United States. Omar is unlikely to need further surgery and will rejoin his nomadic family of 10 in rural Somalia. "The children may be very poor but they are also very loved," Ms Kelly said. "He's got a mum and dad who love him more than we can imagine. That's where he belongs." Saying goodbye to the boy with a new-found grin will be heart-wrenching for Ms Kelly. Issa Farah, "Dhoollawaa" "I usually drop them at the airport and cry all the way home," she said. But with 11 overseas children staying at her Kilmore farm and more on the way, Ms Kelly's focus will soon be diverted. Her Somalian liaison, Issa Farah, will escort Omar home before returning to Melbourne with four sick children at the end of the month. They include two requiring heart surgery and one young girl with kerosene burns to her face and body. A Children First Foundation fund-raiser will be held tonight at Preston's Hotel William. We all know what tribe you mean when you say Somaliland. That’s all I ask you guys, just a little respect for my people, So it's our fault again right? I'm sure you mean MY TRIBE because somali people are one/the same. Unless Somalilanders are a different ethnic group now. I did not mention any Qabil, why you associating Qabil with Somaliland. You don't have to actually mention the qabil--WE ALL KNOW WHAT YOU WHAT CLAN YOUR TALKING ABOUT!!! Please don’t twist my arm….say what you want to say but don’t mention the word Qabil in here cause this will make the matter more hostile then its. 2 Late. You just showed your ignorance. You think that because microsoft word did not detect a spelling mistake on the word somaliland that means that you have an official country?!?! Look in the dictionary honey--Theres British Somaliland, Italian SOmaliland, French Somaliland, Ethiopian Somaliland etc. I guess Microsoft now recognizes Somaliland republic? Have they setup an embassy in hargeysa yet?

  9. Mr. Miskiin, I must congratulate you first for having the ***** to go to xamar. I was born and grew up in that beautful city. But you can't deny what happened to non-usc clan ppl in xamar cade. Unless you think that all those people who fled north left for looong vacation I doubt we'll get our house/car/store back from those thugs in teknicals I myself would not want to move back there or raise a family in muqdishu. And many ppl feel the same like me. The univers doesnot revolve around xamar anymore Galkacyo was just a suggestion. I would not mind merca or any other city. In bosaso ppl from every clan live there and are not persecuted. in fact ppl from all over horn of africa live there. Show me one report/case of harrasement becaue of qabil in bosaso. Is it not safe? ps. do u have any pictures/stories to share about ur visit? Please tell me how the ppl are doing. thanks.
  10. smith, It's a work in progess man. Feel free to add other/newer pictures. Im tryin to find more! Masalaam
  11. Che, You just ruled our 90% of Somalia Why no capital north of xamar? Ladif, The new government will need a peaceful city/area to begin the task of running the country. The TNG failed because xamar has dozens of warlords and is very violent place. Smithnwestern, Doesn't merka come under the control of the JVA which seems to be against the Kenya talks? But I wouldn't mind marka as a capital. Doesn't it make sense to have a temporary capital elsewhere?
  12. A Row over the TNG Official Delegates at Peace Conference July 14, 2003. HornAfrik, Mogadishu, Somalia. A row has erupted today between senior officials from the transitional national government of Somalia over its delegates at the current Somali peace conference in Kenya. The row has broken out as Somalia’s political leaders were meeting to discuss the recent accord singed by them in Nairobi nine days ago. The prime minister of the TNG, Hassan Abshir Farah, and the speaker of the parliament, Abdalla Derow Isak were taking part in the meeting as the leaders of the TNG official delegates at the peace process. But the deputy speaker of the assembly, Mohamed Abdi Yusuf has unexpectedly entered the meeting claiming to be the head of the TNG official delegates at the peace process. However, the prime minister has disapproved his claim saying that he still heads the TNG official delegates at the peace talks. Earlier, the TNG president Abdikasim Salat Hassan, who is currently in Kenya, had rejected the agreement signed in Nairobi describing it as an attempt to dismember Somalia although the prime minister has signed it. Many analysts believe that the row has much to do with president’s position. The row had in some way affected the mediators of the peace process. The IGAD technical committee and international representatives at the peace conference have held a meeting to address the issue and significantly setup a committee to meet with TNG president. But this row will be another stumbling block to the peace and stability in Somalia.
  13. Sujiui, You a funy guy man Pal, You talkin about deporting somalis...your a qaxooti like all us!!!
  14. The usc ethnically cleaned xamar of all other clans and commited many atrocities. As far as I'm conserned they had their time in the lime light and it's time for another city. All our monney of Somalis went into muqdishu now look...it's all gone. Since xamar is too dangerous there should be a temporary capital for the new government from kenya. During that time a permanent capital could be decided by all somalis. I nominate Galkacyo(temporary) because it is in the middle of Somalia and between two major clans and is peaceful. Does anyone know a better choirce for temporary capital?
