  1. I thought it would be great to see who can become a movie critic amongst us and tell us why one movie is better than another...

Im looking forward to watching this if it is anything like Dances with Wolves.....Something about mountains, ranges and farms with horses...

I kinda liked the title-2.jpg Quite a fantasy....just shows you what some people can Imagine... 3.jpg1.jpg

title.jpg2.jpg Pretty lady but short on the story line...abrupt ending ...not my kinda movie...though the music and beats arent that bad and 1.jpg was hilarious.

    Drivers: 1st Michael Schumacher (Ferrari), 1m 33,074s; 2nd Mark Webber (Jaguar), 1m 33,715s; 3rd Rubens Barrichello (Ferrari), 1m 33,756s

  3. Arsenal have equalled the top-flight record start of 29 games unbeaten set by Leeds United and Liverpool by avoiding defeat against Bolton Wanderers, battling to a 2-1 success.

The Gunners took another step towards the title with Robert Pires's outstanding strike and Dennis Bergkamp's second from Thierry Henry's assist proving sufficient to see off the visitors.

    Arsenal 2-1 Bolton

    Aston Villa 0-2 Blackburn

    Chelsea 2-1 Fulham

    Leicester 1-1 Everton

    Liverpool 1-0 Wolves

    Man United 3-0 Tottenham

    Middlesbrough 5-3 Birmingham

    Newcastle 3-1 Charlton

  4. "The experiences gleaned from his nomadic childhood, the climate of civil war and his later displacement as a self-exiled academic have nurtured his disdain for nationalistic and tribalistic ideologies. Essentialised versions of cultural identity are set as Farah's villains, leading his characters down the eventual path of tyranny.

The fundamental postcolonial themes of his novels are: restriction of personal freedom within a categorically nationalistic climate and the marginalisation of women....."

Now the above quote shows how different and how unique the chap is. I must say despite being in his late 50's, his understanding of the weakneses of the somali culture and luck of foresight stands out. Kudoos to his contributions and we have to be proud of him as he is one of the few Icons we have.

  5. Blackburn did 'the double' over us last season in the Premiership, but there was no way we were going to let it happen again this time around. Rovers battled hard and we failed to get the opening goal from open play, relying on that man Henry again to put us ahead from a free kick. Pires bagged the second at the death to give us all three points. No midweek game this week - The calm before the storm that sees us play six games in three weeks against top opposition. Next up - Bolton Wanderers at Highbury next weekend.

  6. This is unbelievable Ranieri must be wondering what he would do to win this one......

As usual once again united get away with it ..

Roy Keane has learned he will be available for the Champions League quarter-finals if Manchester United scramble past Porto this week.

Despite Vitor Baia's demand for the maximum possible penalty, UEFA have confirmed Keane will only serve a one-match suspension for treading on the veteran Porto goalkeeper during last week's first leg defeat in Portugal.

Keane got the 11th red card of his United career when he needlessly stood on Baia as the keeper beat him to a long ball played out of the visitors' half.
