  1. Waac markaa indhaha lagugu siyoo, you gotta look the part.

“…Clothing maketh the man (or the woman)" and that "you don't get a second chance to make a first impression." Nowhere are these sayings more true than in the business world in which potential employers, clients, and colleagues all make judgments about your personality, skills, and attitudes based on the way you dress.

You are a reflection of your employer and therefore potential employers want to be reassured about the kind of image you will be projecting when you work for them. Therefore, it is crucial that you present a professional image at all times - from the moment you walk into that interview to the time you get the job and become a regular employee.

  2. It’s really strange to see people who are accepting corruption as part and parcel of the Somali community. I find it hard to believe what Ngonge is suggesting here. It’s not right to live in the shadowy world of fakers. We should be seen as a people who can rise above these petty thefts that have almost engulfed out society from top to bottom.

When you say we can always find ways it means you have to always look behind your shoulders and be very uncomfortable when you should be happy to be where you are or even go wherever you want without worries.

The fact of the matter is Somalis are looked as the trash of the world. Why? Because everywhere We go turns to disaster and whatever they touch smells of corruption through and through. We have put ourselves in this situation and the best way to get out is probably to rise up and really fight for our survival both on the home and ofcouse try to stick together outside. The countries that we live in and call home can never be a substitute of home, what we are proud of now is kinda hollow till we get our home in order starting with clearing of these horrid warlords who are sucking both the blood of the Somali people and at the same time make Somali look trash in most foreign countries.

There is a need to fight fight tooth and nail for what’s ours ….OUR COUNTRY!!!!

  3. Some of the benefits of a government are things like passports, a sense of belonging and security. Apoint where you can go when you are in deep shiid (Embassy) and most of all foregners wouldnt treat you like an outcast without a home.

Im wondering now what bro OG would do especially since ones job/business depends on a working visa that usually goes hand in hand with apassport. Shame that we are a countryless people and have nothing to be proud of. A self inflicted situaion might I add too.

  4. Wonder what the Warlords would do to travel and create mayhem rather than peace. About time they realised they can be inprisoned within the confinements of their lil strong holds. Without the support of the neighbouring countries and mostly Arab states like UAE how would they ever trade and most of all travel? Dubai was a main market for Somalis but now that they are not offering visas to somali passports who is to blame?

Below is a report regarding the Somali passporrts. Interesting read.

    Business in Somali passports...

  6. Shuey does it again....Looks like there wont be much excitement this year as its already predictable....Im however, impressed by the Button and Kling. I believe if these two happen to get the right engines, team and awell set car, then we have some great races to look forward to.

  8. If there was anytime Arsenal could be beaten its this easter week. The schedule is pretty hectic for our thin squad.

Arsenal's squad strength is set to be tested to the very limit over the next fortnight after their Easter games against Liverpool and Newcastle were both moved forward.

We are due to face Liverpool at Highbury on Easter Saturday, followed by Newcastle at St James' Park two days later.

However, what was already a packed fixture schedule has become even more difficult, with four vital games now crammed into just nine days.

  9. Ever thought that having a skill is a source of income that generates millions for the schools, colleges as well as the person with the skills. I believe there is no one out there without a brain and that having a skill is as good as being smart for its not easy to play a game without a game plan. Thats why we have guys who have people who are average and geniuses in their own right and sport.

I also think that people who use their brains are the ones who make money out the ones with skillz...Agents, schools and departments that offer scholarships....etc....

  11. Ten-man Liverpool crashed out of the Uefa Cup to Marseille 3-2 on aggregate after a controversial 2-1 defeat in the second leg at the Stade Velodrome.

Shame even the great players like Kewell have suddenly become average players under Houlier.

With Houlier I dont think LPool can make any impact on both the premiership and what I call the chanel 5 cup... smile.gif

  12. allsportbeckhammonacopunchesair.jpg Real Madrid beat Monaco 4-2 in a pulsating match at the Bernabeu.

gudjohnsenarsenalmobbed.jpg Chalski played well and almost beat us but as always they never take advantage of their chances.

1189065.jpg Who says Henry is the only world class player when you got the likes of Pires.

  13. I concur with Spad.....Somaliland hasnt got the facilities to cope with any kinda repatriation. If the UK cant cope how will a aregion fighting for independence ever cope. If the leaders in SL are smart enough, they shouldnt accept any such deals besides returning Malis now would be counter productive in the sense that there would be no system to cope with their up keeping, education and most of the money they would have made to send back home would be lost as agood source of income.

Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink claims Arsenal have become 'arrogant'.

Just about the only thing left for him is to bad mouth Arsenal....wonder why his footie doesnt do the talkin

His strike partner Adrian Mutu has admitted Arsenal being the best team in the world ..
