Personally i prefer an open-minded Somali christian to a typical dogmatic somali "wadad".

in my humble view Somalis NEED to learn both (their) Islam and ALL OTHER RELIGIONS to either endorse or reject but respect.

1st of all there is ALWAYS a POLITICAL reality, so denying it or submerging it to other realities is nothing but futile excuse.
in my (otherwise biased) view, the political reality in our homeland is this.
A:The somali(nomadic) culture hasen´t endorsed the "world order", wich is based upon NATIONHOOD.
Our culture is confined to the clan borders, nothing beyond that mattres for our culture.
This is our socioeconomic problem
B: Demographically we (somalis) cover huge area in eastren Africa that can be sustained ONLY through political vission that is based on NATIONHOOD.
this is our problem with our neighbours.
C:The present political elite IS a lost genertion,a by-product of the indiffrent Nomad culture and the Clan based political vission, two contradicting realities.
This is our problem with the Warlord leaders, we coulden´t produce better.
D:We share common geographical n enviromental problems with the nations in east African.
This is our share of the African continent problem
E: Our willigness to have a soverign Nation , a home State for all ethnic somalis is in it´s weakest ever, the peek was under the colony times and it was declining ever since.
This is why the "Somali weyn" vission is dying , and beeing replaced by " maxaa iga galay" ( hell i care )
So , if we´ve a Somali problem formula that looks like this .
Nationhood - the A: problem -(The B:problem + The C: problem ) times The D:problem devided by E:problem.
Today´s political reality = (Nationhood - A -(B+C)*D /E ).
So dear LSK according to the Formula at hand

The extent n depth of the hatred towards Mogadishu and it´s ppl varries among ppl from the countryside.
For some, they HATE Mogadishu becouse it happens to be the Capital that happens to be situated in the heart of a hated Clan.
For some ,it´s their birth place,( like ME
) but becouse of the bad memories related to that particular city, a place of childhood memmories, a place they sure would do anything for to be able to retire to,but maybe the thought of them not beein able to do that MAKES them prefer to PAINT Mogadishu n everything that is associated with it BAD.
I later come to know that Mogadishu used to be like " Haj " (Mecca) for some. ( according to a well know n qouted poet from O*adenia ).
For some, Mogadishu and those who were born or raised there ,ARE hated n disliked JUST becouse they´re the lucky ones to have lived in the ONLY cosmopolitan city in Somalia
They went to school,universicy,colleges, they used to go to cinemas,theatre, "serie A " football, events n occations that NEVER took place in any other city or town in Somalia.
The person who is trying to portraite Mogadishu as a village of starving camels n wreckage of civl war Tank sure suffers from a deep depression.
I think our Japaneese worrior ( samurai ) falls into this category.
Though Mogadishu is the ONLY city that suffered most in the past 14 years of the civil war STILL it is the leading Commercial center ( in " Bakare" market millions of US dollas exchange hands daily, there they SET the exchange rate that effects even Addis n Nairobi, local phone calls are free of charge, high buildings( our version of sky scrappers) ) are uncountable.
though it is uncompareable to Western Capitals .. ( Garbage collectors are on STRIKE since day 1 of the civil war ) STILL Mogadishu (the city of almost 2 million )is the Place to B when Somalia comes into mind.

1st of all let us NOT forget that Ghedi is appointed by A/Yusuf weather it is a DIRECT order from his masters( The Ethiopians ) or it is his own calculation is actually irrelevant.
The problem is the RULE of the game is VAGUE .
The power of the President has to be defined and distingusihed from that of the PM in the dull CHARTER.
As for the Persona Ghedi he sure belongs to post-warlord Somalia , the man shoulden´t accept the nomination in the 1st place , but due to homesickness n ounces of partiotisim he thinks he can deal with a warlod dominated parliament n a colonel president.
Nonetheless, in terms of clan lines we expect no less than TOTAL devotion of Ghedi.

Now that the honeymoon is OVER ,A/Yusuf is not ONLY a president without Capital he seems to have LOST the political momentum.
The cheering of his kinsmen n the emotional outbrust of all the moderate somalis of all walks of life has ceased becouse of his ambiguous ( unilateral ) call for a foreign troops to keep an undefined peace and unarm invissible terrorists in Somalia , and the speed of the reconciliation process among the Somali clans ( which NEVER started ).
No government is in position to THIS day , let alone a functioning government in Mogadishu .
Soley his unilateral cry for foreign troops and the candid resposnse from the AU n the international comminity has apparently taken the cream out of the momentum.
Xperts beleive that both the failure of his call for the foreign troops and him beein sucked into the Mighty Mogadishu ppl´s policies in the process of trying to pick a PM,and the demands from his masters in Addis were just too much for the militry man.
Some beleive that his advisers ( puppets from Puntland ) are to blame for the loss of the mumentum becouse of their inability to metrialize on the willigness of the OTHER Somali clans to reconcile.
Personally i THINK A/Yusuf is Incabable of deleivering it...... What do you see ? please motivate it ..

From what i heard .. Adhi Adeye IS populated and inhabited by kinsmen who belong to MIGHTY Mogadishu kinsmen.
If the frontline doesent move either towards Las Anood or towards Buroa in the comming hours... We´ll have to dispatch Mogadishu Militia to SAVE our kinsmen.

3rd... Mogadishu and South Somalia are and will STAY " Ethiopian free zone " .
The ppl of mighty Mogadishu made it clear that , and Mogadishu is NOT Garowe ( The US Rangers can tell you about that ).
If you,your Colonel and the Ethiopians THINK that you can repeat what you did in Puntland in Mogadishu and South Somalia , i must disappoint you and tell you to WAKE up from the dream.

The Ethiopians were reported not to have violated any laws in Puntland at all and immedeately left Somali territory when their mission was accomplished.

if you feel defeated in the debate , there are 2 way to go ahead.
1: Insult others and try to personalize the whole subject to get others off the topic .
2: be humble enough and learn from your mistakes while encouraging and thanking others for doing their homework.
