  1. This section has became mostly a rivalry between these 2 groups. Stories relating to Somalia (South) are rare. Isn't it time that these 2 groups declare a ceasefire momentarily and concentrate their efforts in defeating their mutual enemy the emerging new threat Alshabab. From the rumour mills, I heard that both Somaliland and Puntland are silently supporting Alshabab for 2 different reasons. In Somaliland's case, they are making a condition of recognition to the international community for supporting the TFG against Alshabab. In Puntland's case, since Abdulahi Yusuf was removed in a coup detat as Somali president support for Alshabab among Puntlanders has increased. If this is the csae, are both decissions wise? If Alshabab runs over the TFG, their agenda is quiet clear and would have the means in taking over both of them. Discuss.
  2. How about a kangaroo? It is leaner and tastier than a turkey or sheep.
  3. Poor kid. I remember once when a neighbour (teenage guy) screamed at his grandmother and the mother got so upset and called on him the police. Unfortunately, she had a dumb Somali (via phone) intrepreter. She told him, "Wuu waalanyahay oo wuxuu rabaa inuu ayeeyadiisa dillo", and he/she intrepretted it literally and therefore a swat team that deals with the violent mentally sick(by a government legislation) was sent to the house and he was detained in a psydhiatric ward. Every time he protested and screamed he was injected with a more powerful dose while restrained on a bed like that above. The family had regretted and could do nothing for him. That kid has never been the same again.

That should rest one of your concerns, therefore. very kind of you adeer, I didnt start with prejudices of any of my premises, it is my due to my enquiring mind. Yeah, it is loaded with doubts. The Somali flag and its 5 stars is eclipsed by OLNF'd snd Somaliland's whom chose their own flags. truth be told, I have no problem nor qualms with either of them. ******-ya (btw the name sucks because it is a colonial tribal name intended solely of dividing somalis in that region) and without consultation with other somali tribes onlf concoted their own flag and also an oga-denya government in absentia. should we all Somalis (now supporting the concept and struggle) cry later and say, er, we made mistakes like! Somali killing Somali?

This is a false statement and hence no issue here. Somali's want the Somali's in Somaligalbeed to be free of Ethiopian slavery, nothing more. Unless you are so daft, the fact that one is colonised by non-somali, the other not by anyone should have been patently clear to you. Silly questions have no answer buu odhan jiray Boon Xirsi Mate, no arguments there I'm daft because I ask questions whom no Somali of my age dares to ask because of the Somali tradition, elders know all. come on, what elders? Jim Jones elders. Also, I mentioned one is colonised, but I also mentioned that the other is left out alone in a dismissed union. Technically, it is a divorce. what makes the colonised special and the other impotent? Somaliland gained independence 4 days before the South and a consenting marriage as a union was conducted. Your argunment leans in support of Og-adenya should be a seperate entity but not Somalilanders, why? Can you answer the second part of my question. What do oga-denya leaders plan for other somalis in a free Og-denya?

  7. First, a discliamer from me is warranted. I'm from the South and in favor of the Somaliweyn concept. Though the naked truth is that the South is in a deep turbulance of its own anarchy and is no position to appeal to others to join in a unity with them, I also believe you can never force this Somaliweyn concept on others who dont view the same way as I do. Therefore I have no problem with Somaliland and O-gadenia establishing their own seperate independent states like DJibouti. But what I fail to grasp or comprehend is why are all Somalis regardless of their region of origin giving the thumps up for Og.adenya to become a seperate and sovereign state and not Somaliland? I know every Somali is passionate about our Somali brothers quest to overcome Ethiopian oppression, but do 'we' Somalis seriously think if O.gadenya succeeds in it's liberation for a sperate statehood, it will not become like Somalia? Pre 1991 or post the downfall of the Somali government, there was not a plan to maintain the unity in the south by the leaders of the victors as they have embarked in revenge and met with counter revenge killings till we found ourselves in a deep mess. Do the leaders of O-gadenya have a positive political sharing plan that incorporates all the different Somali tribes in that region? Did they learn from the past grave mistakes in Somalia? Respect to all these flags.

  9. It is common to see older Somali men going back to Africa/Middle East and marrying younger Somali girls. Do older Somali women marry younger blokes? Do these marriages work? Or, are they marriages of convenience, sharci-doon?

What I kindly rquest from the proffessors of fadhi ku dirir in SOL is who are these actors inside the pit (Please, refer to my first post)? 11. Nuune lol. The only clans I know are Aboriginal Australian clans who live in my State, and if you claim one of them, it rewards and enriches you. For example, you will get perks in education, employment and more. Why do I have to know Somali clan system which have no use for me in Australia? My Aboriginal clan is Dhauwurd Wurrung. Please no trolLs and condescending remarks. I need to know what is happening in my ancestoral homeland.
  12. Give me a 101 Somalia's current political trend. How many different 'islamist' fatcions in Somali vying for power? Who is allied to who? Who is fighting who? Which faction rules a certain given geographical area in Somalia. Their power projections. How many warlords are members of the TFG? Do each warlord have his own seperate militia? Is there a national Somali army loyal to the president? What areas do the TFG control? Finally, what are your predictions, will there be peace in Somalia in 2020?
  13. Wallraff traveled across Germany disguised as Kwag Ogonna, a Somali refugee naturalized German. lmao He should have chosen a proud Somali name like Pirate Nomad.
  14. We (friends) were just talking about this topic few hours ago, and I know a somali girl (recently arrived in the country) who used white king laundary bleach on her face and has been hospitalised. lol. Young Somali girls should be educated about the dangers associated with bleaching products. Black is beautiful. Fu-Fu is right white pale girls are using dangerous solariums just to look like us. What a mad world!
