I think Puntland should not mince their words. There's no country called Somalia, it's hijacked by a cabal in Mogadishu. Therefore, in every sense of it, they should build a separate entity until Somali isu timaado. Period.

It's the same currency. I don't think there's devolution in central banking and money matters in the UK. Politics, a bit, yes, but economically it's all one. Example comes to mind is the euro, all the same but different pictures and look for each country.

Weird how no one focuses cooperation and development. Building the peace in your immediate vicinity should be a priority. Facilitating business between regions for shared prosperity.
Southern Somalia is highly unlikely to know the idea of peace, let alone prosperity anytime soon.
Focus on peace and development.
These politicians are dimwits who have no ability to lead, so they go to distraction technique which works without a fail is inter tribal hatred.
Time for peaceful regions to move on.....

There will be no Somalia. Brace yourselves for a balkanized country.
If Somaliland goes, so will Puntland. Then there's going to be scramble for demarcation of the mini states that will emerge as a result.
Mark my word, HSM unintentionally or intentionally is the catalyst for the death of the Somali Republic, as we knew.
