Thursday December 27, 2018 US citizens should continue to avoid visiting Somalia because violent crimes such as kidnapping and murder remain endemic throughout the country, the Department of State said in renewing its travel advisory on the country. "Do not travel to Somalia due to crime, terrorism and piracy," the travel advisory said on Wednesday. "Violent crime, such as kidnapping and murder, is common throughout Somalia, including Puntland and Somaliland. Illegal roadblocks are also widespread." The State Department explained that terrorists continue to plot kidnappings, bombings and other attacks in Somalia, targeting airports and seaports, government buildings, hotels, restaurants, shopping areas and other areas where large crowds gather and Westerners frequent. "Pirates are active in the waters off the Horn of Africa, especially in the international waters near Somalia. The US government has limited ability to provide emergency services to US citizens in Somalia due to the lack of permanent consular presence in Somalia," the travel advisory said. US citizens determined to visit Somalia should draft a will and designate appropriate insurance beneficiaries and power of attorney and discuss a plan with loved ones regarding care and custody of children, pets, property, belongings, non-liquid assets and their funeral wishes, the travel advisory added.

If what you could not understand is about the situation right now: There are 3 forces now in Kilil. Lets do it by geography. The North towards Djibouti and Dirdhaba is split in two. Both wanted Iley out, but one side was interested in federal positions another side was interested in taking power in Kilil. Both succeeded in Putiing Iley away, but lost the benefit/objective they had beyond that. Abiy and the Oromo do not want them because of Dirdhaba. And in Kililka the replacement became one susb-sub clan by another. Where does ONLF sit in this forces alignment? No where. The current government is in alignment with Eritrea and Ethiopia, so ONLF cannot compete with it. There is no room for ONLF to completely join it. The Oromo also do not want ONLF. Does it make sense now? ONLF is out of the game for now. They should have agreed came home and replaced Iley long before the Oromo replaced him almost without Somali input or plan.

The fractured italian Somalia whether the pirates or the so called paper govt in the bunker. It has been a govt in name only for the past what 19 years the year 2000. The system is broken it's basically impossible for them to beat alshabaab or the forces around alshabaab like Burundi who said or implied they have no interest in leaving the territories of the koonfurians because of the financial gains they get from the Europeans. And for the pirates or Mr cheese the pirates have been so badly defeated in sool and sanaag. It's been a year now almost since President Muses govt conquered tukaraq. The pirates made so many threats it became boring. Somaliland send the last warning yesterday if they misbehave we will walk into garowe. And we all know who is going to cry to the international community . Talalahaayyeh naga soo gaadhay.

Who the hell adviced our folks like Sucaad Carmiye and Biixi Yoonis to attend this good for nothing talk show? Somalilanders should not trust anything associated with Heritage Institute or any other Koonfurian outfit. And those useless so-called talks should be called off asap.
