Nice qoraal, but selected words are a bit too graphic to some readers esp. younger ones..lol..

lacalaa dacaskiin ku taal idinma dhahee wax iskula hara! have respect for the women folk in SOL. Just cause this is muraayad does not mean you lot can behave like this, kheyrul-masuul waaxid
Never understood why people like to air what they do and others living vicariously through someone else imagination.
There is always something hilarious about when one talks seriously about coitus in Somali. I'm not one to judge, but even if the above article posted by Somali was for educational purposes, to me it still sounds really wrong. for instance, most of us wouldn't laugh if the following paragraph was to be translated in Englsh:
"BEKRA-JEBINTA
Habeenka aqalgalku waa habeennada nolosha qoys kan ugu horreeya, galmada dhacda habeenkaasi bayna gabadhu isugu bedeshaa haweeney, sidaasi daraadeed aad iyo aad buu ahmiyad ugu leeyahay haweeneyda cusub. Waxa ugu muhiimsan ee habeenkaasi dhacayaa waa bekra-jebinta. Bekradu waa xuub ama dub khafiif ah oo ku dahaaran afka hoose ee cambarka, waxaana ninka waajib ku ah inuu dillaaciyo ama ballaariyo xuubkaasi kolka ugu horreysa ee uu dhalfada gelinayo cambarka. "
I'm I the only one laughing lol? I stopped reading after that.

Wax waalan.
Fortunetly, my Somali failed me halway through this piece of trash. I only read "habeenka arooska" paragraph but seriously hala xishoodo.
Anything written in Somali seems to sound more raw than in English maybe because we are used to receiving a humongous amount of information in English daily. A sex manual was always going to sound a bit icky but in Somali it's sure to be an unholy mess! But to be fair to the author, the extract Som@li posted shows that he at least attempted to write his material in a clinical, informative and digestible format.
Alhamdulilaah, Cawaale. How are you keeping?

Raaxada sariirta, erm I mean, SIRTA sariirta ha la'isku sheego maaka dhacday?![]()
Agree, I reckon he wrote for the Somali audience who don't play around before marriage, and this field would be very new to them. No wonder this book is a best sellers among Somalis, I first saw it in a book shop in Dubai, but didn't bother to look at it.
And yes the book written in Somali, we are not desensitized to some of the words.
LoL, Soomaali. Runtii this link si kadis ku arkay, xataa the title of this thread is borrowed from that site. Eniwey, dankis. I am indeed enjoying.
